How to Become an Arrancar

The Arrancar transformation is the culmination of the Hollow evolution chain. Follow these steps to unlock it:

Choose Hollow type: Gorilla, Lizard, Turtle, or Centipede.

First evolution. Do NOT press L to become Menoscar — push to Adjuchas.

Unlocks Cero. Farm Quincy/Shinigami for progression points.

⚠️ Important: Always reach Vasto Lorde before removing your mask. Menoscar (from Menos) only gives 2 trait slots, and Adjucar (from Adjuchas) gives 3. Vastocar gives the maximum 4 slots.

Hollow Types

Your Hollow type is chosen at the start and affects your base stats throughout the entire evolution chain, including the Resurreccion fight.

Arrancar Traits Tier List

Hollow traits are earned by consuming defeated Hollows. Traits become permanent once you evolve to Arrancar — choose wisely. Traits are only active during Resurreccion. Rankings are based on data from BloxInformer and cross-verified with community feedback. Note: some traits have disputed rankings across sources (e.g., Horn is S-tier on BloxInformer but C-tier on ProGameGuides) — we settled on community consensus.

Iron Skin+4% melee defense, +35% posture regen

Best overall Hollow trait. Works with every build.

Wings+3% movement speed, +5% shunpo stamina, +3% shunpo speed

Top mobility trait. Essential for PvP.

Deadly Claws+3% Hakuda damage, +0.1 max AP

Best melee damage trait. Core for Hakuda builds.

Horns+35% Cero width, +10% Cero length

Best Cero trait. Makes your Cero significantly larger.

Tailbone+20% Cero damage, Cero is 25% thinner

High Cero damage boost. Pairs with Horns for Cero builds.

Dense Muscles+1% weapon damage, +1% Hakuda damage, +45s Resurreccion duration

Resurreccion Mechanics

Resurreccion is the Arrancar ultimate transformation. To unlock it, equip your weapon and meditate (press M). Watch for yellow Whispers text above your hotbar — meditate immediately when they appear. Eventually you will be transported to your Inner World. Follow the red eyes to proceed.

Resurreccion Fight (3 Phases)

Original Hollow

Battle your selected Hollow type. Gorilla and Lizard fights are easier. Learn attack patterns.

Menos

Features delayed attacks. Focus on timing rather than rushing damage. Be patient.

Adjuchas

Stronger version with extra abilities. Play defensively, prioritize parries.

💡 Tip: If your character falls asleep during meditation, you need more XP first. Keep farming before attempting again.

Balanced melee build. High weapon and Hakuda damage with good survivability.

Arrancar Tips

• Don't rush to Arrancar — optimize all 4 trait slots at Vasto Lorde before removing your mask
• Reject bad traits — once you become Arrancar, traits are permanent. Only accept traits that fit your build
• Gorilla is easiest — best Hollow type for beginners and the easiest Resurreccion fight
• Spear is the best starter weapon — range advantage makes PvE and PvP significantly easier
• Farm Quincy and Shinigami — they give 10 progression points each. Arrancar kills give 0 points
• Watch for Whispers — yellow text above your hotbar signals meditation progress. Meditate immediately when you see it
• Use missions for Adjuchas farming — efficient way to earn progression points during mid-game
