VV Ultimatum Hollow Traits
Complete VV Ultimatum Hollow trait guide. Traits are physical mutations collected by consuming other Hollows — each provides unique stat bonuses from melee defense and Cero damage to movement speed and Resurreccion duration. Trait slots increase as you evolve: Base Hollow (2 slots) → Menos (2) → Adjuchas (3) → Vasto Lorde (4). Traits persist through evolution, so collect strong ones early. You can reset traits using the DNA icon in the menu while still a Hollow — they become permanent after evolving into an Arrancar. Important: traits are only active during Resurreccion mode.

Hollow Types
Well-rounded stats with no buffs or debuffs. Best starting type for new Hollow players.
Fast but fragile. Good for hit-and-run tactics and experienced players who can dodge.
Tanky but slow. Best for survival builds and players who prefer blocking over dodging.
Glass cannon speedster. Major speed boost but reduced defense and damage. High skill ceiling.
Hollow Clans
Trait Slots by Evolution Stage
+4% melee defense, +35% posture regen
Reduces incoming melee damage and massively speeds up posture recovery. The safest universal trait — beneficial for nearly every build. Best defensive trait in the game.
+3% movement speed, +5% shunpo stamina, +3% shunpo speed
Boosts all mobility stats with zero drawbacks. Top-tier for chasing, escaping, and repositioning. Foundation trait for speed/mobility builds.
+3% Hakuda damage, +0.1 max AP
Best offensive trait for Hakuda (melee) builds. Provides direct damage boost and AP pressure. Base attacks become sharp instead of blunt.
+20% cero damage, cero is 25% thinner
Largest Cero damage boost available. Long bony tail with laser Ceros. Rewards accurate aim since the beam becomes narrower — high skill ceiling.
Hidden name/reiatsu, +20s Resurreccion, +5% speed
Strong PvP and roaming trait. Hides your name and reiatsu signature for ambush strategies. Extended Resurreccion duration and speed boost.
+1% weapon damage, +1% Hakuda damage, +45s Resurreccion duration
Reliable hybrid trait with modest damage boosts. The lengthy Resurreccion extension is valuable in prolonged fights.
+7.5% movement speed, -1.2% melee defense
Largest raw speed boost but comes with a defense penalty. Suited for kiting and hit-and-run playstyles.
16% poison chance on melee, -1% weapon damage
Provides damage-over-time pressure through poison procs. Weapon damage reduction is always active, but poison chance is strong when it triggers.
+5% melee defense, +2% Kido defense, -5% speed
Solid tanky option combining melee and Kido defense. Speed reduction makes it better for bruisers than mobile builds.
+35% cero width, +10% cero length
Makes Ceros much easier to land but provides no damage, speed, defense, or duration bonuses. Strong for Cero-focused builds, lower priority otherwise.
Cero charges 12% faster, +45s Resurreccion, -5% cero damage
Utility-oriented for Cero uptime and longer transformations. The damage penalty limits its offensive value compared to Tailbone.
+2% Kido damage, weapon damage scales off Kido stat
Best suited for Kido-leaning or hybrid builds. Requires specific stat investment to outperform more universal traits.
+2% melee defense, +5 posture, +15% Resurrection healthpack, -2% speed
Decent defensive option for extended fights. Movement penalty and situational healthpack benefit keep it ranked lower.
Faster HP recovery
Speeds up natural HP regeneration. Useful for sustained PvE grinding and between-fight recovery.
Movement speed increase
Increases base movement speed. Decent for mobility builds when you don't have Wings.
Bala damage boost
Increases Bala rapid-fire damage. Good for ranged Hollow play and poke damage.
Detect nearby players
Highlights nearby players and NPCs. Useful for awareness in PvP and avoiding ambushes.
Faster trait absorption
Speeds up trait collection from consumed Hollows. Niche utility for farming new traits quickly.
Trait Tips
- • Trait slots increase with evolution: Base (2) → Menos (2) → Adjuchas (3) → Vasto Lorde (4)
- • Early Menos conversion limits you to only 2 trait slots
- • S-tier traits (Iron Skin, Wings, Deadly Claws) are worth keeping
- • Trait Rerolls are rare — save them for replacing C-tier traits
- • Traits persist through evolution — plan your collection early
