Reset Stats

A stat reset lets you rebuild an allocation after early mistakes or a deliberate change in playstyle. The expensive part is not pressing reset—it is committing points again without a complete plan.

Before You Reset

  1. 1. Record the current build: save the point totals, important nodes, weapon, clan, and faction route.
  2. 2. Confirm the current requirement: check the in-game reset NPC or item description because costs can change between updates.
  3. 3. Build the replacement first: reproduce the proposed allocation in the calculator and verify every prerequisite node.
  4. 4. Keep utility points: do not spend the entire budget on damage before accounting for movement, posture, or defense.
  5. 5. Reset and verify: allocate essential nodes first, then compare the final totals with the saved plan.

Good Reasons to Respec

  • • Changing from Weapon damage to Kido, or from a hybrid setup to a focused route.
  • • Correcting points trapped in nodes that no longer support the active weapon or faction mechanic.
  • • Rebuilding after a verified balance update changes prerequisites or scaling.
  • • Moving from an early leveling setup to a planned PvP or endgame build.

Common Reset Mistakes

  • • Copying a tier-list build without matching its faction, clan, weapon, or intended mode.
  • • Forgetting prerequisite nodes and discovering the planned end node is unaffordable.
  • • Spending all points on damage and losing the mobility needed to apply that damage.
  • • Assuming a stat reset also rerolls innate stats, clans, traits, or abilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reset when the current allocation blocks a clear build goal, when changing the primary damage route, or after confirming a new setup in the calculator. Avoid resetting just to follow a temporary tier list.

Record the current allocation, confirm the reset requirement in the current game version, plan every essential node, and leave room for mobility or defensive utility.

A stat reset is intended to reallocate spent build points. Treat clan, innate-stat, trait, and ability rerolls as separate systems and verify the current item or NPC description before confirming.
